Oh boy, I don't even remember much of my first activation! It was soon after I first got my technician's license and I only had my Baofeng UV-5R. Was lucky enough to get a few S2S and even got a 50 mile contact to San Marcus.
Will update this post when I find some old photos! But it makes me so happy that even though it took me a while, I got li general's license and learned CW! Makes activating summits MUCH easier and more fun!
