This was my first every CW SOTA activation so I was a bit nervous. Only got 4 contacts but that's all it took! Had to ask for plenty of repeats but I'm very grateful for Jeremy, NJ6Q who chased me! It was a great feeling hearing my CW Academy instructor's callsign.

Was a little disappointed I only got 4 contacts, but I was only running roughly 3-4 watts through the Just-Ok Mini antenna.

Lots of parking on the side of the road right outside the trail head.

Just need to hook left a couple of times to get to the summit. You can continue to the right if you want to do a loop! Mostly compact dirt and rocks.
