My first ever DX contact and it was to Japan! HUGE thanks to JG0AWE as I had to ask for a repeat about 8 times. Signal was pretty rough but absolutely amazing that were able to make that QRP, long distance contact!

Got 8 contacts which has been improvement over my past 2 activations. Also big thanks to Kevin NB7O for chasing me! It's always such a great feeling when your CW academy instructors chase you on a summit!

I originally planned to Bachelor Mountain W6/CT-196 but every single route was inaccessible. I guess there is a reason why no one has activated it before! So this summit today was my backup plan as it was a simple drive up!

There is a single, small patch of dirt you can park at on the side of the road.

Not much of a route! Walk past the gate and walk into the dirt area to the south of where you parked.
